I was a churchgoer. The clergy was pleased to take my money. l stopped attending and donating to churches when I realized that they had no desire to save animals from exploitation, torture or death.
Think about this
Animals want to live just like you. Animals have families just like you.
Animals love just like you. Animals feel pain just like you.
As a child you loved animals. What happened?
Some early church leaders said about people who eat animal flesh,
"They are dining with demons."
Our Creator knows most humans are ignoring what He had already planned for them:
"...See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food. And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to every creeping creature on the earth, in which there is a living being, every green plant is for food. And it came to be so." Genesis 1:29-30
The early followers of The Way of our Messiah, Yahusha were all Vegans for almost 325 years. They did not eat animals of any kind.
Many suffered persecution and death from 65 A.D. until 313 A.D.
In 306 A.D. Constantine became an emperor of Rome and kept killing followers of The Way who would not obey the instruction to
"Eat animals and change your Sabbath to Sunday!"
Many succumbed to coercion.
In 312 A.D. Constantine, who believed in Sol Invictus, saw a vision of a cross trophy in the sky and in 313 A.D. he decided to invent the Roman Catholic church and end the persecution because he saw that people could be led to follow the cross. In 324 A.D. he defeated Licinius in a civil war and became the sole emperor. Thus, Constantine’s rise and the eventual unification of the Roman Empire under a single ruler.
Do you feel guided by "something" to be an animal activist?
Think about it. That may be our Creator calling you by His Ruach Kodesh (Spirit). Don't quench the Spirit. Quenching the Spirit means ignoring or deliberately disobeying the leading of Yah and doing something that is self-serving and not Yah-serving.
Here is your opportunity to meet your Creator by His personal name "Yahuah." He already sees you and knows you have an abundance of love and compassion for all creatures. Because of Abraham's love for & obedience to our Creator he was chosen to lead the nation of Israel, His chosen people.
He wanted a people group through which He could accomplish
His purposes in the world.
